Carefree 2004

‘Carefree-I used to be colour-blind’ was an experiment on how to create a multi interpretable image.
An image that would shift its meaning depending on the context in which it is used (newspaper, exhibition, book cover or on a screen)
In the Veemvloer (Amsterdam) the image was presented as a photo wall 6 x 10 meter, constructed out of 40 A4 prints, carefully pieced together to achieve one large semi transparent version. Billboard sized the image presented it’s self as an advertisement.
The photo wall was occasioned by the launch of the art magazine Mr Motley.
